Lola Fenhirst is an independent, small-batch fine jewellery company founded in 2015 by Lola Oladunjoye.  Instantly recognizable for its striking architectural and afro-modernist aesthetic,  Lola’s work draws on her Anglo-Nigerian background and West African heritage to create wearable art that blends traditional Yoruba adornment motifs with the best in European jewellery-making technique.  Lola brings a deep intellectual curiosity and multi-disciplinary approach to her work, coming to jewellery design as a second career having spent 18 years practicing high technology law in California’s Silicon Valley.  In addition to designing fine jewellery, Lola is also a writer whose articles exploring complex issues such as identity and family heritage have been featured in British Vogue.

In keeping with the company’s core values of sustainability and environmental awareness, Lola recently collaborated with De Beers Group to create the Beaded Radiance capsule collection to celebrate the launch of De Beers new trusted source initiative, Code of Origin. Code of Origin provides assurance that the diamonds are natural, conflict-free, responsibly-sourced, and originating from a De Beers mine in one of 4 countries – Botswana, Namibia, South Africa or Canada.  To avoid overproduction and wastefulness Lola Fenhirst fine jewellery is predominantly made to order, with each piece of jewellery handcrafted from recycled gold and ethically-sourced stones, and exclusively produced in Paris, where the company is based.

Within a short time, Lola Fenhirst has become the red carpet jewellery of choice for Hollywood stars such as Halle Berry, Angela Bassett, Michaela Coel, Keke palmer, Laverne Cox and Uzo Aduba, to name just a few.
